Every returned alarm,
accounted for.
Received, bench-tested, adjudicated against the warranty term the purchase order actually carries, and settled — one credit per property, on a statement you can reconcile line by line.
Six roles share one sign-in — service partner, receiving, the bench, office, finance, administrator. Pick any of them and the platform changes to match.

This is the bench, as it stands right now.
Units arrive in the left column and are tested in the right. Every plate on this page is the running platform with its real records — click any of them to open the screen itself.
How a return works
Five stages, and a unit can only ever be at one of them. Where a unit sits is a fact the platform holds, not a status somebody remembers to update.
One claim per returned alarm — property, model, reported fault, and the date code off the back of the unit. The warranty is checked while you type.
Group the claims into a crate and add the tracking number. Every claim moves to Shipped in the same action, so the crate and its contents cannot disagree.
Units are booked in against the shipment as the crate is opened. Anything that does not match what was declared shows up immediately.
Voltage, physical condition, functional condition. The outcome follows from what was measured — and an expired term settles it before anything is measured at all.
Decisions confirmed property by property, the allowance allocated, replacements issued, and the credit written to your statement.
A returned alarm is measured, not inspected
Three readings decide the outcome. Nothing is adjudicated on the strength of what was reported.
Where the warranty answer comes from
A date code alone is not a warranty term. The code identifies the production run; the purchase order for that run says how long it is covered for. Both are needed, and the platform holds both.
Four real codes, run through it now
Computed on this page by the same module the bench calls — not a table of prepared answers.
One credit per property
The Service Partner Allowance is granted per property, per shipment — not per unit. Four alarms out of one house is still one allowance, at the rate set for that brand.
| Claim | Model | Outcome | Allowance |
|---|---|---|---|
| One allowance, Red rate | $38.50 | ||
It is re-derived from scratch every time anything changes, and the total is checked against the rule before it reaches a statement. An allowance that quietly drifts is an invoice that is wrong.
Where is my shipment?
Enter the reference from your consignment note. The stage is derived from where the units in the crate actually are — nobody updates it by hand.
Already a service partner?
Everything is behind one sign-in: submit claims, build shipments, follow the testing, and read every settlement back to the unit it came from.
Not a partner yet? Warranty returns are handled through contracted service partners — talk to us at service@kpsaustralia.com.au.
